“Rules of Conduct”

What follows are the Laws of the MUD. The community of Tempora Heroica is about having fun and forming friendships. These are the rules that are set down to help foster an environment conducive to these values.

  1. Tempora Heroica is for grown-ups. You are solely responsible for your own conduct and behavior.

  2. No swearing or spamming over public, global channels: gossip, shout, yell, and auction.

  3. No harassment. We are here to mud, not to torment one another.

The Tempora Heroica staff is not responsible for what a player may say or do on the MUD. However, the staff will enforce the “Rules of Conduct” and address abuses as swiftly as possible.

We have no way of verifying the age of any individual who has connected to this server, and therefore assume that any individual connected has tacitly accepted to the MUD’s “Rules of Conduct”.

If the player is a minor, we regard the minor’s guardian responsible for his or her minor’s behavior, and we do not assume any liability whatsoever for what they may see or do. The staff of Tempora Heroica are not babysitters and the MUD is not day-care.

Other MUD Rules

  1. No advertising of other MMOPRGs or MUDs, nor soliciting for them.

  2. Multiplaying is not allowed. Multiplaying is having more than one hero in the game at the same time. You may have more than one hero, however, do not log them into the MUD at the same time.

  3. Do not share your hero or sell or transfer them to another person.

  4. By playing Tempora Heroica, you agree to immediately report all bugs, exploits, and loopholes to an administrator and via the bug command and not use the bug, exploit, and loophole (including spamming).

  5. We reserve the right to change Tempora Heroica; including the server code and the world. This is a living, constantly evolving project.

Because of these rules, Tempora Heroica has continued to be a friendly and fun place to visit and the MUD has grown into a mature virtual community. Players of all ages are welcome as long as they act responsibly and understand and follow the above rules.
