The Senior Staff

The staff of Tempora Heroica is a tightly-knit team. Each staff member brings his or her own unique qualities and abilities to the MUD. The active coding and original building are evidence of the dedication and hard work that makes Tempora Heroica a fun and entertaining virtual community.

We take great pride in the two-way communication between players and staff. We listen closely to what players on Tempora Heroica are saying and respond to their suggestions and concerns in a prompt and timely way.

Here are brief biographies of the current senior staff:

Magnifico has been involved with the MUD since 1993 when it was called Archipelago. He took over as Implementor (Imp) in 1996 and changed the MUD’s name to Tempora Heroica. He chiefly maintains the MUD server’s code base: ArchCode.

Beast has been involved with Tempora Heroica since 2000 and is a lead designer for the MUD. Some of his design work includes the MUD’s armor system. He has also built an area on the MUD featuring the vile Ratief.

Min has been involved with Tempora Heroica since 1999 and is the Player Advocate and executive assistant to Magnifico. Her main job is to keep the gears greased and everyone on the MUD happy. In 2006, Min built her first area — a goblin mountain hideaway.

Redbeard has been involved with Tempora Heroica since 1998 and is a lead designer and semi-retired. He has built many areas on the MUD including the googles and Fort Thundertree. He is also the author of many of the interactive features in the game including fishing and darts.

Sid has been involved with Tempora Heroica since 1999 and is the head builder. He has built many areas on the MUD including Liefbaum, Thrudanahk’s bugbear camp, and the satyr temple. He also recruits and mentors new area builders.

Solomon has been involved with Tempora Heroica since 1998 and is the Clan Advocate and a senior builder. His building work focused on the southern continent and the selkie community at Crescent Bay. He is presently on leave and going to graduate school.
