Well, I once ran into a Middle Eastern seminarian in a Ukranian Catholic
seminary in Rome who spoke Ukranian and Italian quite well, but no English or
German (my languages). We did manage to talk a little in New Testament Greek,
but my NT Greek isn't that great, and the vocabulary I know is better for sheep,
pastures, vineyards, and crucifictions than it is for getting around modern
Rome.
