I agree with David Moore when he says "...there is a quality of personal relationship with God that is essential to the pastor or other minister of the Gos-
pel." The person lacking that quality has no business at all being a minister
of the Gospel, and if I had to choose between a fully qualified scholar in the
languages who did not have that relationship and one who did but was unaquain-
ted with Greek (I'm glad I don't have to make such a choice), I would imme-
diately choose the latter as a pastor.
