David Wilens asks:

"...is it possible that the church reveals the anti-christ to the Jewish
nation - just as Esther points out Haman to the King"?

This is a question that can be explored contextually and exegetically, David,
but the problem I am trying to sort out is the grammatical relationship be-
tween the main verb and the EIS clause, which Paul (if I understand him cor-
rectly) is interpreting as a purpose clause. It would be easier to under-
stand the meaning if we take the clause as final (consecutive), and then we
would only have to determine how the one event turns out from the other. This
is still a tall order if the EIS clause is joined to OIDATE, but not as dif0
ficult as understanding purpose (in my opinion). (BTW my reference to Paul
above is to Paul Dixon.)
