Sorry, I didn't have all of my ducks in a row earlier.
Would it be a fair statement with respect to Peter's assertion to
accord the following import to his reply to Jesus in John 6:68. "We
still be live and have reached the settled conclusion that you are
the Holy One of God," or is this asking too much of the text?
I am not asking if this is a good translation, simply if it accords
with the spirit of the remark made by Peter based upon the context.
