Now that the newly published _A Greek-English Lexicon_ (LSJ) is out and
readily available from Oxford University Press for a bargain of $100 until
the end of the year (phone: 1-800-451-7556), the question is what to do
with the old version.

I donated my copy (together with _A Greek-English Lexicon_ by Bauer, in
expectation of the new edition) to the Romanian National Library, located
in Bucharest.

Romania is in great need of such works. Even the library of the Faculty of
Classical Philology in Bucharest does not have such works, and back in
1966, when I got my Master's Degree there, we had to use _Dictionnaire
grec-francais_ by Bailly as the standard dictionary for Greek.

Another library in need of such works is Biblioteca Centrala Universitara
of Bucharest. This library is being rebuilt after the fire that destroyed
a large part of its collection during the revolution in December 1989.

If anyone of you would like to donate such works as the two mentioned
above, you can send them to me and I will send them to Romania through the
Romanian Cultural Center, which is locate here in New York.
