I, for one, would be interested in your contributions to this topic,
Harry. I was totally unaware of your paper and of Radney's thesis,
which, I gather from your comments, dealt specifically with Hebrews.
I'll have to get copies of these things. When I did my disseration, I
had a very hard time finding stuff already in print on the subject;
my bibliography contained only about 40 entries, as I recall. I knew
about Friberg, but I didn't know about the review you mentioned.
Awareness of the literature was one of the shortcomings of my work
that I recognized at the time but couldn't seem to find any way to
improve upon.

I may stay pretty quiet in this discussion, if it develops, because
one of the things my study convinced me of is that determining the
significance of the order of words is a very big can of worms that
I'm glad for other people to open up and play with, but I think my
own role is going to be that of a reasonably knowledgeable spectator
rather than a participant. I'm not sure I could survive the game, but
I think I'd learn something from watching others play.
