Dear members of B-Greek:

My wife, a Hebrew student, subscribed to the B-Hebrew service by the
encouragement of a friend. Her experience, thus far, has been a very
positive one, and she subscribed several weeks ago. Because I understood
this service to be a generally worthwhile thing, I, a Greek student,
subscribed to B-Greek just two days ago.

I enjoy reading and studying various subjects, including theology,
philosophy, Greek, mathematics, logic, and ethics, as well as many
others. I plan to pursue an M.Div. program in apologetics beginning this
fall, and I believe the strengthening of the mind to be a solemn and
critical pursuit.

I subscribed to B-Greek because I thought it would be interesting and
thought-provoking. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for my brief
experience with B-Greek as my wife has said in reference to B-Hebrew.

Maybe I'm being too critical, but I really don't think so. I thought I
was going to find intelligent debate and discussion of biblical Greek
grammar/exegesis, etc. Instead, the majority of what I found appeared to
be meaningless banter. My gut tells me to "unsubscribe." From what I've
read from a lot of you, you'd probably be glad if I did.

I'm throwing out a challenge. I'd like to see the banter completely
removed, and I'd like to see it replaced with solid, meaningful
discussion. I'll give it a couple of days.

(If you desire to respond to me directly, I encourage it. Either respond
generally or to me personally at: ifeelgreat@juno.com).

Sincerely,
