I have no particular opinion on the date of Revelation, either Neronian
or Domitianic. My own numismatic research fits either date.
David Aune has published an article which suggests that the liturgical
language of Revelation deliberately imitates imperial cult imagery: David
Aune, "The Influence of Roman Imperial Court Ceremonial on the Apocalypse
