PROS EAUTON TAUTA PROSHUXETO

Bauer, Arndt, Gingrich and Danker state under EAUTOU: "pray to oneself
(=silently)," listing Luke 18:11 as an example. They then cite several
other examples:
Aristaenetus, 2 Maccabees 11:13; Josephus, Antiquities 11, 210

I wonder if there is a parallel with 1 Corinthians 14:28 where Paul
admonishes the person speaking in tongues to "speak to himself and to God"
if there is no one there to interpret?
