I'm working my way through Galatians 5:22 in preparation for a sermon this
Sunday, and in light of the context of Galatians <a church in conflict>
have adopted the working assumption that the KARPOS TOU PNEUMATOS are those
manifestations of the new nature which are especially needful in our
relationships with other believers.
>From this perspective all of the nouns appear to fit into a pattern which
describe our attitudes toward others, our actions toward others and our
attitude toward the self.
But I'm having a hard time with CHARA; specifically, how it might be a new
man characteristic needed in our relationships with others. So I thought
perhaps the august members of this list might have some insights.
