Beginning Greek Students and Stale Greek Students desireous of being
refreshed:

Originally, we were not going to send this out until a week before class
started (Sept 1), but since many have been personally emailing me and
asking for it I thought it easier to let you start subscribing now.
Besides, this will give us more time to get things set up, work out any
problems, recruit others to the class, etc.

To subscribe to the new list:
send to: hub@xc.org
the following message: subscribe anet-greek101

You will be sent a message indicating when you have been subscribed. It
should not take long (give it a day or so).

In the meanwhile, if you have not purchased Machen's book, "New Testament
Greek for Beginners" you should try to do so by Sept 1. It costs around
$43 (the price I was quoted when I called the local Christian bookstore
last week). Paul Nanson is putting the book on-line and assures me that
it will be done, hopefully by the time class starts. So, if you can't
get the book, do not dispair, as long as you have a server. If you do
not have a server, then you will have to get the book. If you have the
book and have only email capabilities, then you should be able to do just
fine (assuming you do the work).

I will send this announcement out again in about 2-3 weeks. We leave
this week for vacation and will not return until the 23rd or 24th.
