A qualification to my previous post is in order.

To vindicate Wallace somewhat I can see how one might read
TOUS PATERAS as the subject of the infinitive TOU POIEIN, even
though it is also the object of a finite verb. However, I still don't
think this passage qualifies as an *unambiguous example* of
anything. I think this is a deliciously ambiguous example which is
why I brought it up on the list.
