Subject: Mk 13:30 hH GENEA

Mk 13:30 AMHN LEGW hUMIN hOTI MH PARELQHi hH GENEA hAUTH MECRIS hOU TAUTA
PANTA GENHTAI.

Does hH GENEA hAUTH refer to the generation of Jesus? If so, was Jesus
making a prediction that did not come to pass?

What different meanings can GENEA take, and what could hAUTH refer to?

Mark 13 tells us the signs that will alert us that these times are coming

Actually, in Mk 13:30 AMHN LEGW hUMIN hOTI MH PARELQHi hH GENEA hAUTH MECRIS hOU TAUTA PANTA GENHTAI, I believe that hH GENEA hAUTH can only refer to the generation in which Jesus lived.

As I see it, this was a prophecy which did not come to pass, but I see no other way to interpret this phrase in Greek.
