Dear colleagues,

Some time ago I asked you a question about a program that allowed to
type Greek characters with diacritics in CCAT encoding in WinWord 7 (Win
95), as BETA program did for Win 3.1. Thanks to all who have shared
their experience. I think that the results of my search can be
interesting for some other people as well.

There is a program that was designed to replace the Wingreek for Win 95,
namely "Son of WinGreek". In my opinion it's a bit too difficult to
manage, though it works and can be helpful.

the set of macros for different versions of WinWord & WP prepared by
Matthew Robinson seems to be a better solution if you do not need to
type Greek outside your usual text processor. By the way, the set is
absolutely free (very nice of Dr. Robinson indeed).

Both options can be found at
http://users.ox.ac.uk/~classics/software/greekmacropage.html#convmacro
as well as some nice Greek fonts.
