For words before DIONYCHOS, consider the Diccionario Griego
Espan~ol (DGE) as a preferable option vis-`a-vis LSJ and Lampe. Since it
seems to me that many English speaking philologists and scholars in general
are not aware yet of its existence, I am including here a very short note
about the volumes of the DGE. You can read a comparison between LSJ and DGE
by J. Chadwick in "CR" 45 (1995) pp. 307 ss.

Diccionario Griego Espan^ol (DGE), written under the direction of
Francisco Rodr'iguez Adrados, with many collaborators:

Published volumes of the DGE:

Vol. I: a - a)lla/. Madrid 1980, CLX + 154 pp. Reimpr. Madrid 1989
Vol. II: a)/lla| - a)pokoinw/nhtos. Madrid 1986, CXLI-CC y pp.
155-424 + *1-6
Vol. III: a)pokoite/w - Basileu/s. Madrid 1991, CXLV + pp. 425-690
Vol. IV: basileuto/s - dai/mwn. Madrid 1994, XLII + pp. 691-864
Vol. V: dai/numi - diw/nuxos Madrid 1997, XLVI + pp. 865-1135

Vol VI is scheduled for the first half of 1999.

The reviews for the 4th volume are:
J. Irigoin, "REG" 108 (1995) pp. 236 ss
J. Chadwick, "CR" 45 (1995) pp. 307 ss.
S. Sznol, "Jewish Studies" 35 (1995) pp. 129 ss.
G. Pugliese Carratelli, "PP" 50 (1995) pp. 78 s.
H. Schwabel ,"WS" 109 (1996) pp. 277 s.
