I think you're using Majordomo. IIRC Most MD versions allow the list owner
to prevent posts from non-subscribed addresses. That would stop most of the
spammage by these dweebs. The ListManager's list probably has the specifics.

The from address is 99% probability bogus. It is not wise to complain to
sender in spam cases, they probably will abuse you as well as adding your
personal address to lists they SELL to other spammers.

However you can generally get an ID of the originating ISP who can ID the
spammer and take care of him.

A UUNET dialup. complaints with full headers to fraud@uu.net have been sent.

I have recently started a moderated message board for spam issues. The
Senate has passed a bill making spamming legal if spammers offer a remove
