Big thanks for helping me understand the triclinium. I really appreciated
Jonathan's pictures. They reminded me of the booth where my family used to
sit at Shoneys. We didn't recline (at least the older children didn't.) It
seems like that would not be very confortable, and make it harder to swallow.
The open end was for serving, as was suggested.
