Unless this is a Word Macro Virus, and you read the message using
MSWord (not so smart), then you won't get a virus from reading email.
Besides, viruses are machine specific, and you'll notice that the warning
didn't mention what type of machine was involved.

Ironically, the warning message itself is the true email virus (how zen!),
because it will get itself reproduced manifold by panicky newbies
who email all their friends and mailing lists with copies of the warning.
Please, never pass on a computer security warning without validating
the information with an authority or without clarifying who should
be concerned.
