How to study, what to use....

Dear B-Greekers,
Having just completed my "formal" study of Greek, I am left wondering
where to go next. I want to continue working with my GNT and learning more
and more, but I'm not certain if my method of study is the best. This was my
method for my last year of college:

1. Translate the verse (or paragraph, book, etc.).
2. Diagram if it wasn't too terribly difficult (I'm not very good at it).
3. Do Word Studies on words that seemed particularly interesting.

While doing this I would frequently use BAGD and Reinecker and Rodgers.

Now, what I need to know, is if this is a beneficial way for me to continue
my study of Greek on my own, and if I should purchase these books for
myself. Any information about good study tools and/or study methods would be
a great help!

Thanks!

Allison
