Training a Child

David Marotta asks about training a child. I seem to remember that the
book of Proverbs is replete with admonitions to train the child in the
way of wisdom, in the way of the father (teacher?) Prov. 4:1-27, etc.
the writers/editors present childhood as the way of folly, and the way
of the father as the way of wisdom. It is the task of the father to
teach and the task of the son to learn. I think that according to his
way" may mean the way of foolishness as opposed to the way of wisdom.
