I came across the following quoation among my notes by chance today, and
I think it is a very helpful way of putting things. It is from Bede
Griffiths book, New Vision, page 234. He is summarising the thought of
Origen on the subject.

"The Logos is with God, and is God in a real sense, but not *the* God,
the source and origin."
