Re: Nature of Koine v. Classical?

I would like to take a moment and add a bit to the Koine discussion
here. When it is said that Koine is "More clear" than classical-it
should be said that Koine is clearer to a non-natice speaker of Greek
than to a native-hence some of the noteworthy grammatical differences
such as less use of particles, emphasis on pre-positional statements
rather than on post position, generally simpler and more direct sentence
structures. The "clarity" is from a matter of perspective.
