I have a question about the occurences of the word "epignosis". It is my understanding that it occurs twenty times in the New Testament, but that Hebrews 10:26 is not included in that number. Why? Is there a discrepancy in the valid use of that word here? Also, would it be a fairly correct to translate this word "participation", since its meaning seems to suggest more than an intellectual, or even spiritual understanding.
