There's also a book that applies discourse analysis to 1 Corinthians,
written by a fellow listmember: Ralph Bruce Terry, A DISCOURSE ANALYSIS
OF FIRST CORINTHIANS (SIL, 1995). It has helped me understand Paul's
argument (which initially seemed almost contradictory) concerning food
offered to idols.
