Classical style

Dear Carl,

One more thing I wanted to ask you privately. I've been working through some
material in Luke he last few days, preparing for my Greek competency exam
Feb. 1, adn I noticed that Luke routinely omits direct objets, especially with
Aorist participles, which I've noticed Luke also likes a lot. An example would
be at the start of Luke 15:5: (eupwn, after having found. After having found
what? The missing sheep obviously, but Luke regularly omits those sorts of
pronouns. Is this common Classical Greek style? Thanks.

Ken
