The answer is: NOT VERY SOON. My understanding is that SBL has appointed a
committee to work on it; one member of that committee, Micheal Palmer, used
to be an active participant on b-greek. If he still is, perhaps he can
respond. In the meantime, I'd suggest you check the following web-site in
Perth, Australia thatwas set up for the Hellenistic Greek Grammar list
which focuses particularly on issues associated with that subject. One of
the items on display there is an outline (perhaps even alternative
outlines) for the layout of the new grammar. But I think it's not
reasonable to expect it in the very near future.
