I've written to a few of you off the list about commentaries on Ephesians,
but now I would like to ask for input from the larger group.
I'm looking for TWO good commentaries, one which treats the Greek text
explicitly and another which does not require a reading knowledge of Greek
but which clearly shows that the author is aware of issues raised by the
Greek text. Both commentaries must show awareness of the major critical
issues involved in a serious discussion of Ephesians, including, but not
limited to the authorship question.
What would you recommend?
