Below is the scheme used by IOUDAIOS REVIEW for transliterating
Greek into ASCII. It allows one to represent diacritical markings
(which, of course, will occasionally effect sense).
I. LETTERS. Greek upper and lower case are
both designated by upper case English. Greek
upper case is indicated by
preceding the transliterated letter with an
asterisk (*): e.g. *PAU=LOS.
