The second point of clarification (regarding Wallace's citing of me in
his grammar) concerns footnote 19 on p. 262. It does not seem to relate
to the sentence to which it is attached. I wondered if this was a
misprint since it seems much more appropriate 2 pages earlier with
footnote 18.
