It is a good thing to hear of the giants that went before us. I, too, look
forward to hearing from others. Until then, I suggest that a good place to
start is with Stephen Neill and Tom Wright, The Intepretation of the New
Testament 1861-1986; the sections from Neill's pen contain many anecdotes
and character sketches.
