There are so many books on this subject, you couldn't throw a cat into a
divinity library without hitting one. As Carl pointed out, the Fortress series
is outstanding. Some one-volume anthologies are also good and reasonably
priced:

S L McKenzie & S R Haynes, eds. TO EACH ITS OWN MEANING: AN INTRODUCTION TO
BIBLICAL CRITICISMS AND THEIR APPLICATION (Louisville: Westminster John Knox,
1993).

J B Green, ed. HEARING THE NEW TESTAMENT: STRATEGIES FOR INTERPRETATION (Grand
Rapids: Eerdmans, 1995).

All the best,
Greg Carey
