Paul,

   Yes, that is what ismeant by semnatic domain. The basic idea, as it
is carried out in Louw and Nida, is that you know what theword "run"
means by comparng it with how other words for locomotion, like walk,
crawl, and skip are used. Although I know thisis a controversial issue,
it is for this reason that I trust the definitions in Louw/Nida over
those in BAGD becuase the semantic domain approach avoids some
regrettable theological glosses.
