Oops! Wrong book

A few days ago I recommended Brian Joseph's book, _Morphology and
Universals in Syntactic Change: Evidence from Medieval and Modern Greek_ as
an interesting treatment of the spread of the syntactic function of
hEAUTOU. Well. . . I just discovered that I recommended the wrong book.:-[
I was writing from memory, and had read Joseph's book over two years ago. I
confused it with another book which has a similar title. The book I
*should* have recommended (the one which really deals with the spread of
the function of hEAUTOU) is

Roger D. Woodard. _On Interpreting Morphological Change: The Greek
Reflexive Pronoun_. Amsterdam: J.C. Gieben, 1990.

I apologize for any frustration my mistake may have caused you. Both books
are worth reading, but Woodards is the one which addresses the topic that
was under discussion when I made the recommendation.
