On the contrary, I feel that Dr. Hobbs' message was perfectly appropriate,
and Meier's work *is* an excellent resource on such matters. While it is
true that we are to come to our own conclusions, I really do appreciate
the opinions of thoughtful scholars with more years of experience in the
field I can hope achieve. It helps to separate the wheat from the chaff,
the latter of which is unfortunately too common.
