I was looking for some audio tapes to help me with the
pronunciation of Latin when I discovered *The
pronunciation and Reading of Ancient Greek*, by Stephen
G. Daitz, published by Jeffery Norton, 1981,1984. This set
of tapes proposes a pronunciation of Attic Greek
somewhat different than the what is presented in the
standard text books.
I have two questions. Does anyone teach this method of
pronunciation for NT Greek? What value does this
pronunciation have for helping one understand Attic
authors?
