I have not heard the iota subscript pronounced for Koine, but I have
heard it pronounced for older Classical Greek. It was pronounced as a
quick '-y' sound, not quite as a full letter. It sounded similar to the
'i' in "possible". Or, if you are familiar with Hebrew, as a shewa is
pronounced, but with a slight "i" sounding edge to it.
