After lunch I decided to take a close look in R.H. Charles* and track down
where he had buried his treatment of Rev 22:17. It was found on page 179-180
of vol. 2.
Charles agrees with Carl that both ERCOUs are bidding those who read or hear
the vision. Charles recognizes that hH NUMFH is against this, but he places
this scene within the Millennial Kingdom and therefore he concludes that it is
not possible for ERCOU to be a summons for KURIE IHSOU of verse 20, because
KURIE IHSOU is already there. One needs to look at Charles' reconstruction of
Apoc. 20:4-22:21 (quite complex) to really understand the full force of his
argument.
