Dear George:

Who said anything about "a simple time point where `the beginning' [takes]
place"? Certainly not I. A time period during which many important activities
take place might be more appropriate. In this case it appears to be a time
period known to all readers of the Hebrew/LXX Bible, and thus quite sacred and
not at all shallow.
