CBMW is "The Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood", one of two
organizations devoted to gender issues in interpreting the Bible. They
oppose the inclusive language NIV, women teaching men, etc.

The other organization devoted to gender issues in interpreting the Bible
is "Christians for Biblical Equality", which can be found at
"http://www.chrbibeq.org/". It takes the opposite stance - in favor of the
inclusive language NIV, women teaching men, etc.

Both of these are advocacy groups, and neither is composed primarily of
biblical scholars, but there is good material on each site, always
buttressing their particular view.

But as Edward Hobbs points out, this has been discussed at great length -
and with some very high-quality posts - right here on B-Greek, and all that
is waiting for you in the archives.
