oxUs tOnos (acute) is a high tone
perispWmenos tOnos(circumflex) is a high-falling, i.e. high-low
and
barUs tOnos (grave) is a low tone.
all unaccented are low tone, so that a barus is not distinguished from
surrounding non-tone marked syllable.
it may sound strange but that's the way its done for reformed classical
pronounciation.

i expect that that would be the system that stephen daitz uses on his
commercial recordings of homer.
c. $200 for 24 book set (incl 24 casettes) or $60 for six books. each six
book part includes text plus english translation plus six cassettes.
available through audio-forum, 1-800-243-1234

(i have not listened to these so i can't say more.)
