Can anyone provide evidence that lends credence to the belief that adding
EK changes the meaning in this phrase? Is there really any significant
difference between:

        hO PRWTOTOKOS TWN NEKRWN

and

        hO PRWTOTOKOS EK TWN NEKRWN

Please justify your answer...
