Is not Mk. 14:38 an example of this? Jesus addresses Peter/Simom in the
singular (could you [sing.] not keep awake, etc.), but then gives his
command about watching and praying in the plural. And how about the
parallels in GMatt. and GLuke to Mk. 14:38?
