I think you mean 5:15b, don't you?
No, I'm afraid that won't work. The verbs in the two verses are
instances of two signficantly different usages: AFEQHSETAI is future
passive of AFIHMI (or AFIW--the older MI verb is being conjugated
regularly in the NT era often as an Omega verb) used with a dative of
the person to whom remission is granted, while AFHKEN is the aorist 3d
sg. active of what is indeed the same verb but with a very different
sense, "quit, leave"--where the verb with an accusative direct object
the person left behind. The first usage ('forgive') really means, quite
literally, 'dismiss x (an offense) for y (a person)' while the second
one literally means 'leave x (a person) behind.'
