Dear John,

If you can get a hold of it, you might consider A Short Syntax of New
Testament Greek, by Nunn, originally published by Cambridge in 1924. The
book opens with a glossary of grammatical terms, and follows with a 24 page
summary of English grammar before getting into the Greek grammar and a few
readings from the Apostolic Fathers etc.
