RE: Sorting alphabetically?

Thank you for the notes on sorting, but still some problems:

1. The replacing of letters by numbers is not working, because the words
have different length. So short words are always on top. The idea is good,
though.

2. The replacing of a-a, b-b, g-c, is better, but I have still a problem,
because when I replace g by c, I have later on the Chi=c which I have to
replace AGAIN, Same thing for f/Phi. How do you avoid that, Bob?
