This is old stuff, but Bruce Waltke did his Ph.D. dissertation at Harvard
on the SamP and wrote a very helpful article on it ("The Samaritan
Pentateuch and the Text of the OT") in _New Persptictives on the Old
Testament_, ed. J. B. Payne. Word Bks, 1970.
