I think that here we must understand TWN hHMERWN TOUTWN as a defining
genitive, here almost in apposition to the time indicated in the first
genitive: "At the end-time, the time consisting of these days." It turns
out to be the same thing as "In these end-time days" or "In these latter
days" since "latter days" bears an eschatological associations in English
ever since KJV.
