does anyone know of an online site which contains images, drawings, or
reconstructions of the standard "four room house" common in first century
palestine?

im looking for something to show folk regarding the floor plan of those
dwellings. that is, i suspect that joseph and mary were welcomed into
someone's "living space" but that the house being rather small, the baby had
to be put in the "phatnh" out of the way of the folk crowding the space.
nevertheless, this phatnh would of course have been within the actual house
itself...

anyway, sorry to ramble. a url would be grand if anyone knows of such.

best,

jim
